Rattmann Stamp by iamfergie Rattmann Stamp by iamfergie
Doug Rattmann, also known as the "Rat Man", deserves more stamps. And if you don't know who he is, you need to play more Portal. And Portal 2. And read the incredibly gorgeous comic "Lab Rat", released by Valve. I won't spoil anything for you, but Doug Rattmann is the very definition of a tragic hero. And his sidekick is a weighted companion cube that talks to him. So he's got that going for him.

Also, if they ever made Portal into a movie, I think Rattmann should be played by Gary Oldman. Only he could pull off that degree of mental instability.

That's awesome, I loved the Lab Rat comic. Also, in case you haven't seen it I think this is some of the best concept art to come out of Portal 2:

I swear, when I heard his voice in that last den I just got the weirdest chills. Poor guy.

Oh, I know. My brother tried to convince me that it was part of the ambient music. So I turned the music down, and it was still there. And we just stared at each other. It was so disturbing and sad. But mad props to Valve for creating such a haunting character. A character you never even see in the game!

And thanks for the fave, by the way!

Ooh, now that's interesting. And definitely; I think their characters are a major part of what makes Valve so awesome. But then again, that's one of many reasons :P

No problem! :D
